Google Pixel Watch 5 Hits Record Low Price Ahead of Black Friday
Google’s Pixel Watch 5 is currently priced at $300, down from its original price of $400, marking the lowest price yet for the smartwatch. This discount is available ahead of Black Friday, making it an opportune time for potential buyers.
The 41-mm model with Wi-Fi is part of this sale, while the larger 45-mm model is also discounted from $430 to $330. Retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and the Google Store are offering this 25 percent off deal, although the duration of the sale is uncertain.
The Pixel Watch 5 is recognized as one of the best smartwatches for Android users. It features double the RAM and storage compared to its predecessor, along with an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor, which enhances its performance by 20 percent.
The smartwatch includes a stunning domed display that is easy to read during workouts and offers significant upgrades for health and fitness tracking. New features include a Strength Training experience that allows users to build custom workout routines, complete with audio cues and rest times.
Additionally, the Pixel Watch 5 supports offline tasks, such as starting a workout, which is beneficial for users who prefer to leave their watch at home while exercising. New Health Guardian tools also provide insights into insulin resistance trends, blood pressure trends, and sleep breathing quality.
Google claims that the watch can achieve up to 40 hours of battery life, although some users have reported around 36 hours in testing. Fast charging is a notable feature, allowing for up to 15 hours of use with just 15 minutes of charging.
At its original price of $400, the Pixel Watch 5 was considered expensive, especially since many software upgrades will also be available for the previous generation. However, at $300, it is now more affordable than the latest Apple Watch Series 12 and other high-end smartwatches. This current price represents the best opportunity for those interested in purchasing the Pixel Watch 5.
