vivo X500s Display Specifications Leaked Amid Ongoing Testing

The vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max have recently launched globally, following their debut in China over a month ago. Meanwhile, the company is already working on the next model in the series, the vivo X500s, according to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

The engineering sample of the X500s is said to feature a 6.85-inch flat screen with a 2K+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, along with equal-width bezels on all sides. The tipster describes the device as following a “large-screen all-rounder” approach, leading many to speculate that this model is indeed the X500s.

If this information is accurate, the X500s would offer a slightly larger and sharper display compared to the vivo X300s, which was released in March with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen at a resolution of 1260×2800 and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display specifications of the X500s also align with those of the X500 Pro Max, suggesting that vivo may be incorporating its latest flagship’s screen technology into another model.

The X300s was announced alongside the X300 Ultra, indicating that the X500s might debut alongside the rumored X500 Ultra, expected to launch in China between March and April. Notably, the Ultra model is also reported to have a 6.85-inch flat 2K 144Hz display. Currently, further details regarding the X500s, including its chipset, camera specifications, and battery capacity, remain undisclosed.
