Details Emerge on Realme 17 Pro Specifications Ahead of Launch

Recent leaks have provided clarity on the specifications of the upcoming Realme 17 Pro, following earlier uncertainty about its identity as either the Pro or Pro+. A new report from industry sources specifically outlines the features of the Realme 17 Pro, suggesting that the previous leak may have referred to the more advanced Pro+ model.
The Realme 17 Pro is expected to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Dimensity 7300 chipset. The camera setup will reportedly include a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Additionally, the selfie camera is said to support 4K video recording at 30fps, although its resolution remains uncertain, potentially being either 32MP or 50MP.
Other anticipated features include a substantial 10,000 mAh battery, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The device will run on ColorOS 17, based on Android 17.
In contrast, the earlier leak mentioned specifications for a device featuring the Dimensity 7500 chipset, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera. It also described a flat 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, which could increase to 165Hz for gaming. This model was noted to have a plastic frame and a camera module similar to that of the Realme 16 Pro+.
The tipster behind that leak suggested the device could be the Pro+ or Pro Max. With the latest report attributing the more modest specifications to the standard Pro model, this distinction appears plausible.
