New Leak Reveals Specs for iPhone Air 2 Ahead of Launch

The iPhone Air 2 is anticipated to debut alongside the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e in spring 2027. Recent rumors suggest a slimmer design and a dual-rear camera setup, with a new leak providing further details on its specifications.

Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared expected upgrades for the iPhone Air 2. The device is reported to feature a 6.55-inch flat OLED display with a standard aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a resolution exceeding 1.5K.

Additionally, the iPhone Air 2 is said to be powered by the 2nm A20-series chipset, which was first introduced with the iPhone 18 Pro series. The device is also rumored to include a dual-rear camera system, consisting of a 48MP wide sensor and another 48MP ultrawide sensor.

In terms of battery life, the iPhone Air 2 is expected to have a larger battery than its predecessor, with previous rumors indicating a capacity of around 3,500mAh or higher.

Other leaked details suggest that the device will be 5.2mm thick and will utilize the latest N2 wireless chipset along with the C2 modem. The design is expected to resemble that of the original iPhone Air.
