Belkin Launches Lightweight Semi Solid State Batteries for iPhone

Belkin has launched two new semi solid state batteries designed for iPhone users. The first is a 10,000mAh model equipped with a USB-C port for charging, while the second is a 5,000mAh MagSafe option that supports 15W Qi2 charging. Both batteries are notably lighter than traditional models and feature premium aluminum builds that feel cold to the touch.

The 10,000mAh battery bank weighs just 220g, significantly lighter than older models that typically range from 240g to 300g. Its aluminum construction gives it a premium feel, and its compact shape makes it easy to carry in a pocket.

This battery bank offers up to 60W of charging and includes a smart display to show the battery percentage. It is available for $89.95 on Amazon.

The 5,000mAh MagSafe battery is praised for its thin design, making it one of the lightest options available. Although it lacks features like a kickstand or smart display, it effectively serves its purpose. However, users should note that when attached to an iPhone Duo, it may protrude slightly from the bottom of the device, a common issue with MagSafe accessories designed for the Duo model.
