INMO GO3 Smart Glasses Feature Display and Gemini Integration with Enhanced Privacy

The INMO GO3 smart glasses tackle two significant challenges in the smart eyewear market: the lack of a futuristic display and privacy concerns regarding the camera. These glasses not only feature an actual display but also integrate Google’s Gemini for enhanced functionality.

Designed to facilitate connectivity and productivity without relying heavily on smartphones, the INMO GO3 offers a MicroLED display for each eye, achieving brightness levels of up to 1,500 nits and a 30-degree field of view. This allows users to interact with the display without interrupting conversations or checking their phones.

One of the standout features is real-time translation, supporting 98 languages, with full offline capabilities for 13 languages. The glasses can detect speech from a person in front of the user, displaying translations directly in their line of sight, thus overcoming language barriers seamlessly.

Additionally, the INMO GO3 can take notes during meetings and will soon offer the ability to present summaries directly through the display. The glasses can also function as a teleprompter or interface with an AI assistant powered by Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT, enabling tasks such as answering questions and recognizing images.

Despite their advanced features, the INMO GO3 remains lightweight at 58 grams, slightly heavier than Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses without a display. The 8mm temples ensure that they resemble standard eyewear rather than bulky tech gadgets.

Battery life is a critical consideration for smart glasses, and INMO has designed the GO3 with an interchangeable battery system. Users can easily swap out a drained battery for a charged one, allowing for continuous use without interruption. The included charging case can also recharge the battery.

Privacy is addressed with a physical cover for the camera lens, providing visible confirmation when the camera is not in use. This thoughtful addition aims to alleviate concerns about unauthorized recording.

Accessories enhance the functionality of the INMO GO3, including a speaker that can utilize AI translation to respond in the other person’s language using an AI-generated voice clone. A controller ring allows users to interact with the glasses’ software without direct contact, and optional sunglasses covers and prescription lens inserts improve usability.

The INMO GO3 is currently available for purchase at a price of $509.
