XGIMI Launches Horizon 30 Series of RGB Laser Projectors with 4K at 120 Hz

XGIMI has introduced its Horizon 30 series of RGB triple-laser home projectors, which can display 4K content at 120 Hz. This new lineup includes three models: the Horizon 30 Pro, Horizon 30 Max, and Horizon 30 Ultra Max, all designed to enhance home entertainment experiences.
The Horizon 30 Ultra Max stands out with a brightness of 6,000 ISO lumens and a native contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The Max model offers 5,300 lumens, while the Pro model has a brightness of 4,800 lumens and a contrast ratio of 8,000:1. XGIMI claims this represents a 15% increase in brightness compared to the previous Horizon 20 series and seven times the native contrast.
All three models run on Google TV and feature dual 12-W Harman Kardon speakers with DTS Virtual:X for an immersive audio experience. The projectors are equipped with a Dual Intelligent Iris system that adjusts light output based on the scene, and they support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and IMAX Enhanced content.
A significant upgrade in this series is the support for 120 Hz refresh rates at 4K resolution, catering to gamers with features like variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode (ALLM), and AMD FreeSync. Input lag is rated at 1.9 ms at 4K/120 Hz and 1 ms at 1080p/240 Hz. Both HDMI ports accept 4K/120 signals, with one supporting eARC for external audio.
The Horizon 30 projectors also feature an integrated stand, optical zoom, and lens shift for flexible setup options. Users can connect the projectors to various devices, including consoles and soundbars, via Wi-Fi 6 or wired connections.
With these advancements, XGIMI aims to provide a versatile solution for film nights, live sports, and gaming, eliminating the need for different setups in a home environment.
